Skincare on the Road

When traveling, choosing which of your skincare products to bring can take longer than the trip itself. It’s important to strike a balance between not interrupting your routine and not bringing a carry-on dedicated to beauty supplies alone. To help you decide, we have optimized what’s essential to bring for your skincare needs when space is tight:

1) Cleanser:

Keeping your face clean is one of the most important steps to maintaining healthy looking skin. When you’re on the road, it’s even more critical to wipe off the grime of traveling. Find something gentle enough to use once or twice a day, but with the right ingredients to keep you clean and fresh.

2) Moisturizer:

Especially if you are switching climates when traveling, having a daily moisturizer is key. The good news is if you’re using a quality moisturizer, a little bit goes a long way. This means that you can rest easy knowing a travel size will get you through your trip.

3) Exfoliant:

If you’re just going on a weekend getaway, feel free to leave behind an exfoliant. If you’re staying for much longer than that, you may want to consider bringing one along. We recommend exfoliating a few times a week to keep your skin glowing and youthful.

4) SPF:

Sunscreen is always important to have, especially when traveling to a warmer climate. But beware of any wipes that claim to substitute for sunscreen. Though they may save some space, most don’t actually protect you from the sun’s rays. If you don’t have room for a separate bottle, use a moisturizer with SPF and save on space.
